Sarah
Sarah is one of our top stylists. She began her career out of beauty school here on the Ridge at Renaissance Salon and quickly became well known in the area for her cutting and coloring talent. She graduated from Bellevue Beauty School in 2003 and has been at the salon since 2004 . Sarah has an amazingly gently and soft personality. She is a wonderful person to talk with and has an amazing ability to make her clients feel comfortable and relaxed. She creates beautiful haircuts and colors identical to those you would receive in a big name salon in the city for half the price. She is incredibly talented with up do’s as well and is specifically requested for many weddings at the Salish and Ridge Gold Club. When she is not working at Acacia, she is busy planning her Vegas Wedding! She and her high school sweetheart are getting married this fall and we are so excited for her! She also loves to spend time gardening and playing with her nieces. We are so grateful to have Sarah and she is a wonderful team member!

Amanda
Amanda is one of our original Renaissance Salon staff! She is young and fantastic! We are so impressed with her talents in coloring and cutting hair in her short time out of beauty school. She graduated from Bellevue beauty school 6 years ago but took some time off to find the right salon. She was at Renaissance since 2006 before the change to Acacia so in her short 3 years her career has taken off! She has a very loyal and faithful clientele and many people that love the hairstyle she gives them as well as love her sweet personality. She has a wonderful happy attitude and is so fun to chat with! Amanda loves making her clients feel great about their hair and their experience in her chair. When she is not working she enjoys hanging out with family and friends.

Mollie
Mollie has been at Acacia Salon since March 2008. She was one of the first hired after the new ownership and we love having her when she can be here. She is busy taking care of her 2 darling children so only 1 night a week allows for her to be at Acacia but she’s booked each week. Mollie has been doing hair for 13 years. She has worked in several high end salons in the L.A. Area, Montana and Seattle and recently took a few years off to go back to college have her kids and raise them as her family is very important to her. She loves working in the neighborhood which she lives. Mollie is very talented and has a great way of making her clients feel comfortable and relaxed. Her years of experience really show in her work. When she is not at Acacia she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, running and exercising.

Zoriana
Zoriana has been at the salon the longest! She was first hired on with Renaissance Salon in 2003 and has been here ever since. We are so lucky to have her here with us and she is a very valuable member of our team. She has been a licensed cosmetologist for almost 20 years! She graduated from Bellevue Beauty School all those years ago and has worked in several salons on the Eastside. She takes great pride in her work and has an amazing loyal following. She is amazing with color and haircutting and has a lot of passion for the industry. She continues to learn and take classes in new techniques in coloring and cutting. She strives to keep her clients happy with the services they receive from her and many happy clients leave her chair daily. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Karyn
Karyn recently joined the Acacia team and we are excited to have her! She has extensive training and experience in all technical services for the hair. She specializes in all color applications including foiling, coloring and Baliage. She also has experience with Perming and straightening hair for any type of curl. Unfortunately freshly cut hair is very to her skin so she has chosen to color hair only. Karyn has been married 24 years with 2 sons, and her family has lived in the valley since 1987. Karyn’s work in the hair industry started at Bellevue Beauty School 10 years ago, and then off I went to the Farouche salon in Redmond for special training as a corrective color/ chemical technician.The work that she did there was quite satisfying for her as it also involved training the new apprentices. The course for new colorist was a full year with education brought in from the local provides, and the TIGI group of educators so she had "new" information to take in with each seasonal change. Her time there included yearly travel for the seasonal release shows as well as traveling out of state for education in New York, Dallas , and Vegas from the Wella, Loreal, and Goldwell color lines. Working locally the past 3 years has made more time for hobbies, and family.
Natasha
Natasha been doing doing hair for over 10 years now and recieved her training from Gene Juarez Academy, where she specialized in hair color for 5 years at the Redmond location. She then went back to school to pursue her other passion- skin care! She worked at a medical spa in Issaquah for almost 4 years, and recently decided to work closer to home up on the Ridge after spending several years there as the head esthetician. She and her husband both grew up here in the Valley and love it so much they decided to settle and raise their kids here. They have a 9 month old boy and love being parents! Natasha is excited to offer a wide range of services at Acacia Salon. She offers haircutting and many different hair coloring services such as Baliage as well as waxing just about any area of the body that needs it and NOW, eye lash and eye brow tinting! When not working she's playing with her son, doing Hot Yoga and spending time with her family.
Meghan
Meghan is our first apprentice graduate! We are so proud of her and excited about the amazing progress she has made. She came to Acacia just a month after graduating from Bellevue Beauty School and eagerly took on the fun challenge of being the assistant to the owner! She did fantastic and is now rapidly building a clientele of her own! At this point she has been in the industry for 3 years and began her career when she decided to take a break from working with small children. As much as she loves kids it was time to find a career she loves! She feels she has learned many things during her appreticeship that have taken many stylist years to figure out on their own, and Meghan loves working with people and enjoys helping someone look their best. She provides our clients with a wide range of services such as haircutting, coloring, deep conditioning treatments, all waxing services, make up application and lessons and Ear Piercing! She has a strong passion for education in hair, makeup and waxing and continues to learn all that she can. She has worked on set for Local Seattle Magazines styling pinup models for car and music photo shoots. Meghan loves recreating old styles to be more modern with both hair and cosmetics. “I love being a part of someones special day.” Meghan says. “I enjoy and strive to give great customer serivce through consultation, helping you the client to feel comfortable and trusting.” Her specialty is current, hip and edgy styles but she also loves giving a sleek sophisticated modern look. In her spare time she love being outdoors with her fiance and her dogs enjoying all this great state has to offer. She looks forward to meeting with you and your family !
Rachel
Hi there! I am the owner of Acacia Hair Salon!My name is Rachel. I graduated from Gene Juarez Academy of Beauty in Seattle 12 years ago and I did a 6 month apprenticeship at JGamble Salon which was located in the Westin Hotel, Seattle then moved to The Lawrence Anthony Salon, Seattle where I began my career as hairdresser running my own business leasing a chair from that salon. After having my first child 8 years ago we built a salon in our home and continued my business out here in the valley where I have been busily doing hair ever since. I continue to learn and stay up on all the current trends in natural and soft hairstyles. I personally stay away from anything to unique and unpopular. I feel that the almost all my clients want to feel and look their best and want that same look re-created at each appointment, so I try to stick to my core cut and color techniques that I have practiced over an over and been shown to work out well by my clients.
I purchased the Renaissance Salon in March 2008 and with that I have changed the name, completely changed the look an feel of the salon and created a comfortable and relaxing place that we can enjoy having our hair done. I am so excited to provide great hair services to the people of the valley. When I am not cutting hair at Acacia, I am busy running the business from my home, spending as much time as I can with our 3 little children and my wonderful husband. I love to do anything my kids love to do so that’s where you’ll find me.
